LaShanda Catrice is a New Orleans native that moved to Atlanta to pursue her love for beauty. As a young girl, LaShanda always had an admiration for beauty, while helping out in her aunt's beauty salon. Throughout her teenage and college years, LaShanda was the go to person for her friends' beauty needs, whether preparing for a night out, a special event or general grooming. Although she loved making people feel beautiful, LaShanda always considered her skills a hobby. Through the encouragement of her family and friends, LaShanda began to book regular makeup appointments and educate herself on her craft.
After working in Corporate America for over 13 years and obtaining a degree in Business Administration, LaShanda realized she would be much more fulfilled being able to express her creativity and turned her passion for beauty into a career. Over the years, LaShanda has worked with New Orleans based Magnolia Makeup as a Freelance Makeup Artist. She has done editorial makeup and was a lead makeup artist for Fashion Week New Orleans for three consecutive years. In addition, LaShanda has worked on the sets of independent films, photoshoots and music videos including The Jonas Brothers' Pom Pom video.
In 2013 LaShanda moved to Georgia and attended The Elaine Sterling Institute to further her beauty education and quickly fell in love with the power of touch and overall skin care. Now as an Internationally Certified (ITEC) and Georgia State Licensed Esthetician. LaShanda's knowledge of skincare is sure to help provide the perfect canvas for makeup application.
